John Fogerty Adds Dates To Celebration Tour

John Fogerty has added more dates for his previously announced Celebration Tour.

The upcoming shows mark the first time the former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman will perform CCR songs since acquiring the rights early last year. Fogerty signed away the publishing rights to his work in 1967, the same year the band signed to Fantasy Records which still owns the master recordings of the group’s records.

The new set of dates concludes on Sept. 11 in Salt Lake City. Tickets for the second leg go on sale starting this Friday, April 12 at 10AM local time, with presale tickets available on Tuesday, April 9, at 10AM local time. More information can be found by visiting JohnFogerty.com.

George Thorogood & the Destroyers will open some dates that will kick off on June 2 in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Thorogood said in an official statement:

“Celebrating the music of John Fogerty at the same time we celebrate our 50th Anniversary is just about as good as it can get.
“I’m looking forward to being out there with my friend, John!”
