Hollywood Celebrities Sing “Imagine” For People Devastated By COVID-19

Gal Gadot just assembled a stellar lineup of Hollywood celebrities to cover John Lennon’s iconic peace anthem “Imagine.” She took to Instagram to share an uplifting message to all those who were stuck at home for the quarantine. It is just timely given that the coronavirus has already claimed thousands of lives and the number of people infected only keep increasing.

The pandemic has affected millions of people – with the whole world at a near-complete standstill.

Gadot said, “Hey guys. Day six in self-quarantine. And I’ve got to say that these past few days got me feeling a bit philosophical. You know, this virus has affected the entire world, everyone — doesn’t matter who you are, where you are from, we are all in this together.”

She then explained that she was inspired after watching a clip of an Italian guy serenading his neighbors on his balcony which she called “so powerful and pure.” She launched into the song by singing the first line and is followed by fellow actors, models, and comedians such as Kirsten Wiig, Jamie Dornan, James Marsden, Jimmy Fallon, Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Will Ferrell, and Zoe Isabella Kravitz among others.
