With New Episodes Three Times A Week
While in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, more and more musicians have been affected by the outbreak especially with cancellation of tours and various events & festivals all over the globe. In line with this, a couple of them had to get creative with ways to connect to their fans and keep playing while staying at home. With social media channels, that’s not a difficult thing to accomplish.
And so, Rolling Stone launched an IGTV music series with new episodes three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3PM EST. The Beach Boys co-founder and primary songwriter Brian Wilson appears on the first episode. He can be seen sitting at the piano in his home where he plays “In My Room”, “Do It Again”, and “Love and Mercy.” Rolling Stone promises that the series “will be an intimate, unforgettable experience that you won’t want to miss.”
Rolling Stone writes that they will feature “legacy artists and newer names; with artists across genres and across the globe.” The magazine also adds, “We’re all experiencing this pandemic in different ways — and we’re all in this together. Artists need our support, and they can also help get us through troubled times. We’re looking forward to giving fans a glimpse into the many ways music can help and heal.”
