Heart’s Instruments Stolen – Rewards Issued

Heart is hitting the road this summer, but not without a bump in the road. As they kick off their North American tour tonight (June 4) in Detroit, the band is dealing with the loss of two cherished instruments that were recently stolen. They’re now offering a reward and asking for help to get them back.
According to the band, the instruments were taken from the Atlantic City Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. One is a “custom-built, one-of-a-kind purple sparkle baritone Telecaster with a hand-painted headstock” made especially for Nancy Wilson. The other is a vintage 1966 Gibson EM-50 mandolin that Paul Moak has played for more than 25 years.
“These instruments are more than just tools of our trade — they’re extensions of our musical souls,” said Nancy Wilson. “The baritone Tele was made uniquely for me, and Paul’s mandolin has been with him for decades. We’re heartbroken, and we’re asking for their safe return—no questions asked. Their value to us is immeasurable.”
Help Bring the Instruments Home
The band is offering a reward for any information that leads to the safe return of these beloved instruments. If you know anything about the theft or their location, you’re encouraged to reach out directly.
Anyone with tips is asked to contact the band’s tour manager, Tony Moon, at tonymoon@me.com.
Back on the Road
Despite the setback, Heart is moving forward with their tour. After tonight’s kickoff at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, they’ll be heading to Highland Park, Illinois (near Chicago), and Hinkley, Minnesota, later this week. The tour is set to wrap up on August 30 in Bethel, New York.
The current lineup includes Ann and Nancy Wilson, along with Ryan Waters, Ryan Wariner, Paul Moak, Tony Lucido, and Sean T. Lane. For full tour dates and ticket info, fans can visit Heart’s official website.
