Very Sad News

In 2001, Dublin-based band The Script was born with guitarist Mark Sheehan, childhood friend and lead vocalist Danny O’Donoghue, and drummer Glen Power. The two friends had ventured to Los Angeles in pursuit of a career in music, where they honed their songwriting and producing skills. After returning to their hometown, they invited Power to join the band, and together they created a unique sound that blended pop and rock elements. The trio quickly made waves in the industry with their emotional and relatable lyrics, and soon became one of the most popular bands in Ireland and beyond. With their powerful vocals and catchy melodies, The Script continues to captivate audiences around the world.

The band has announced that he has passed away at 46 years old after a brief illness in the hospital. It is not yet known the exact illness so far, as more updates are likely to be on the way. They also posted to their Instagram the announcement as well.
