Groom Surprises Wife At The Alter—Serenades Her With Journey’s “When You Love A Woman”

A wedding is a beautiful occasion. It is an event that solidifies a couple’s love for each other, and for many people, it’s the happiest day of their life. For this couple, the groom pulled off an incredible surprise on his wife, and made her entire life.

At the alter, before the ceremony began, the groom grabbed a microphone and serenaded his wife to Journey’s “When You Love A Woman.” The wife is immediately brought to tears, and the groom actually does a fantastic job of covering this Steve Perry classic! Props to this guy, because he looks nervous as hell, and a Journey song is incredibly difficult to sing because Steve Perry’s voice is one of a kind! In the description of the video, he writes:

At 44 years of age and a hopeless romantic, I’d given up hope that I would meet the right girl, fall in love, and get married. God brought her to me just in time. I’d always wanted to sing to my wife on my wedding day. That day, I had a cold, my throat was sore, and I was nervous, but I’m happy I got to sing to her anyway. What a beautiful cover, and good on him for keeping his word and his promise! He finally found the woman of his dreams, and gave her a moment she will remember for the rest of her life!
