Greta Van Fleet is streaming a professionally filmed video of the live debut performance of “Farewell For Now,” taken from their March 28 show at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA.

The song marks their third and latest single from their upcoming album Starcatcher, which is set to be released on July 21. The album is produced by Dave Cobb and recorded at RCA Studios in Nashville.

Bassist Sam Kiszka said:

“In ‘Farewell For Now’ we express the sentiment of our longing to stay on stage & savor the magic created by the audience-music phenomena.
“But we must pack up, & go to the next place to do it all over again; as always, we’ll be back soon.”

In support of the record, the band will be hitting the road for a world tour kicking off on July 24 in Nashville and making stops in cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Boston. Greta Van Fleet will be supported by artists like Kaleo, Surf Curse, Mt. Joy, and Black Honey across the run. Tickets are already up for sale.

Meanwhile, Greta Van Fleet is also set to support Metallica for two dates on the legendary band’s world tour, on Sept. 20 and 27 in Mexico City.
