Happy belated 90th birthday to this awesome rocker Eddie Scharf that schools these drums like it’s nobody’s business!
We are so inspired by such a wonderful person still sharing their talent with the world, especially on their own birthday.
Elegantly dressed in all white, Eddie makes 90 look like a breeze and, in our opinion, he doesn’t look a day over 75!
His son states in the commentary below the video that Eddie’s biggest inspiration was Buddy Rich and it really does show. With awesome form and technique this grandpa, most likely great grandpa, is one of the oldest rockers alive!
Interesting Fact:Â Many people may know Buddy Rich for his volatile outbursts, but he had an impressive career that spanned vaudeville, big bands, swing and jazz.
