Gene Simmons is set to keep his solo momentum rolling into 2026, unveiling a fresh batch of tour dates backed by a roster of familiar ’80s rock names. The former Kiss co-leader continues to embrace life beyond the band that made him a legend, curating a live experience that blends nostalgia with his enduring stage presence.
The newly announced shows will take place across California and Nevada, with stops on July 17 in Fresno, July 18 in Murphys, and July 19 in Stateline. For the first two nights, Simmons will be joined by Sebastian Bach, Lita Ford, and Quiet Riot, while the Stateline performance will feature Bach and Ford without Quiet Riot. Tickets for all three dates are already on sale, adding further weight to an already active touring calendar.
A Setlist That Revisits Kiss Deep Cuts
Simmons’ latest run follows a series of February performances that saw him appear at casino venues and on the Rock Legends Cruise. During a Feb. 20 show at L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana, he surprised fans by reaching deeper into the Kiss catalog.
For the first time in his solo career, Simmons performed “Strange Ways” and “Rocket Ride,” two tracks originally written by Ace Frehley. The inclusion of these songs signaled a willingness to revisit lesser-played material, offering longtime fans something beyond the expected hits while reinforcing the depth of Kiss’ legacy.
Sebastian Bach’s Packed Year Signals a New Chapter
The newly added dates also highlight Sebastian Bach’s increasingly busy 2026 schedule. The former Skid Row frontman has solo performances lined up through October, but his calendar extends even further with a high-profile collaboration.
Bach is set to join Twisted Sister on the road, stepping in for longtime vocalist Dee Snider, who withdrew from the band’s reunion plans due to health concerns. So far, only one date — Sept. 4 in Palmer, Alaska — has been confirmed with Bach at the helm.
While the substitution may have initially raised eyebrows, it also presents an intriguing shift. Bach’s distinct vocal style and commanding stage presence could reshape how audiences experience Twisted Sister’s catalog, potentially turning what began as a logistical adjustment into a creative reinvention.
