A Socially Distanced Concert
Foreigner is prepping for their first gig in 2021 – a pair of shows at the Frontyard Festival in Orlando, Florida on March 23 and 24, 2021. Frontyard Festival showcases six months of live entertainment – from comedy and fitness classes to concerts.
Foreigner’s two-night stand will take place at Dr. Phillips Center and even if there’s already a coronavirus vaccine in the market, the event will still follow guidelines set by the CDC. Thus, seating is sold in groups of two to five people and they will be in private and socially distanced pods. Food and drinks can be ordered from on-site restaurants and delivered to the pods.
Foreigner lead singer Kelly Hansen said in a statement, “We are so happy to be able to perform live again because we and our fans really miss the experience. We saw how the team at Dr. Phillips Center cared about the health of their audiences and innovated socially distant concerts, and that’s why we chose it as our first show for 2021. There’s nothing like it anywhere else in the country. We are so excited to connect with our fans in a safe manner, and can’t wait to play live again at the Frontyard Festival.”
To further ensure safety, staff, crew, and all attendees are required to wear masks.
