The Foo Fighters have been nominated for multiple recognitions for the upcoming 2024 Grammy Awards. The nominations include Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for “Rescued,” and Best Rock Album for But Here We Are.

The band members Dave Grohl, Rami Jaffee, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, and Pat Smear will be competing for the title Best Rock Song for “Rescued,” against the songs recorded by The Rolling Stones, Olivia Rodrigo, Queens Of The Stone Age, and boygenius.

The same song also got a nomination in the Best Rock Performance category alongside Arctic Monkeys (“Sculptures Of Anything Goes”), Black Pumas (“More Than A Love Song”), boygenius (“Not Strong Enough”), and Metallica (“Lux Æterna”). Lastly, the Foo Fighters are also included in the list of nominees for Best Rock Album and will be competing against Greta Van Fleet’s Starcatcher, Metallica’s 72 Seasons, Paramore’s This Is Why, and In Times New Roman… by Queens Of The Stone Age.

The upcoming Grammy Awards will happen on February 4, 2024, at the Arena in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be aired live by 8:00 PM ET on the CBS Television Network and it will be streamed as well on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs).

Looking back, But Here We Are was only released last June, but it already received multiple places in different top charts including the Vinyl Album chart, Alternative Album and the Hard Rock Album sales charts, while debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard 200.
