This is easily one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac performances – ever! It’s 1976 and the band is fresh-faced and swept up in their massive success; with the combination of Stevie Nicks’ and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham’s onstage chemistry, Fleetwood Mac is unstoppable!

This rendition of ‘Rhiannon’ is absolutely bewitching and a great example of the band’s fierce dedication to their legendary performances.

‘Rhiannon’ was a huge influence on the image of Stevie Nicks, inspiring her flowing shawls and black outfits she began wearing on stage. It gave her a mystical look that caught on with her fans, who often dress like her.

This was actually one of Stevie’s first shows with Fleetwood Mac! Having just joined with Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie sought to set herself – and the band – apart from previous Fleetwood Mac incarnations that leaned more toward the folk side of music.

Her frenetic, bewitching performances of ‘Rhiannon’ during her early days with Fleetwood Mac resulted in legions of fans coming out to see this band that everybody was talking about!
