Even After Recent Collaboration, Gene Simmons Reaffirms KISS’ Relationship With Ace Frehely

Last week, a long-time reunion was finally brought to life! Gene Simmons and Ace Frehely were spotted on stage together in a one-off performance for the first time in 16 years. KISS fans were elated at the sight and news, but today, Gene reaffirmed people to not believe everything they see.

Gene told a morning radio show that although he and Ace shared the stage together, they will not be rekindling their relationship into a full time gig for him in KISS. The interviewer asked the question about him and Ace, and Gene immediately responded with:

“Well you know that’s not going to happen. Ace has been in and out of the band three different times. That’s enough.“- Gene said.

Well there you have it. It looks like Ace is never going to be allowed back into the band, due to his repeated reputation of dropping out constantly, and not being a consistent and steady member. I guess the only thing we can hope for now, is more of these one-off performances.
