Elton John bids his farewell to fans saying that the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour will be his last live show.

The three-show run at Dodgers Stadium that was held last Sunday became very emotional for the Rocket Man, as he announced that the tour will be his farewell tour, literally and figuratively.

On his social media account, the singer sent his deepest gratitude to his fans for their unending support throughout his journey. The caption can be read as: “Last night, I played my 2001st and final US tour show ever,” wrote John before he thanked his fans and friends for an amazing night to conclude his last show in the US adding:

“I can’t thank each and every person who was a part of it, at Dodger Stadium and watching at home, enough for the most incredible night. I love you all, and you will forever be in my heart.”

For John, performing his show at the Dodgers Stadium holds such symbolic and emotional meaning for him because it was the same place where John reached the pinnacle of his career. The tour originally started in 2018 and is scheduled to run until July 2023.

In the Farewell Tour, John will be performing in 300 shows worldwide.
