Eddie Vedder’s Heartfelt Tribute To Tom Petty Was The Best Part Of The Oscars

Last night’s Academy Awards Show was filled to the brim with iconic moments, speeches, and appearances. With barriers being broken down, unprecedented wins, and speeches that inspired the masses, last night’s Academy Awards Show was a night we will never forget. It was also on this night that, rightfully so, classic rock found it’s way to the stage.
Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder was tasked with performing music for the ‘In Memoriam’ segment. The song he played was Tom Petty’s iconic smash hit “Room At The Top”, which also served as a fitting tribute to Tom himself. Needless to say, this was the best part of the whole show!
