With just weeks to go until they make their return at Classic East and Classic West, seminal rock act Eagles are revitalized and ready to soar once again following the January 2016 death of fearless leader Glenn Frey. Faced with the monumental task of filling the massive shoes left behind, Eagles turned to friends and family for help, enlisting Glenn’s oldest son Deacon and longtime friend, country icon Vince Gill, for the band’s headlining dates at Classic East and West next month and if rumors are correct, a possible tour to follow.
Since news broke of Deacon and Vince’s addition to the band, we’ve been dying to see a new band photo and finally, we got our wish: earlier this month Eagles unveiled their first official photo of their new lineup, and y’all – it’s a good one!

What a good looking band – and don’t even get us started on the uncanny resemblance between Deacon and his dad! As excited as Don, Joe, and Timothy must be to have Deacon and Vince onboard, we’re chomping at the bit to hear what Eagles sound like now with these two onstage with them but lucky for us – and you – the clock is winding down until the big moment arrives, so stay tuned to Society of Rock for updates and footage as it becomes available!
