Doobie Brothers Going On Tour With Steve Winwood

The Doobie Brothers are set to hit the road with special guests Steve Winwood and Robert Cray.

The tour will embark this year kicking off on June 15 in Seattle, followed by other states, and closing on Aug. 30 in Salt Lake City. Presales will start on Jan.23 and the general sale on Jan. 26. Cray will appear on the trek’s 18 stops while Winwood will be the guest on the remaining dates.

The Doobie Brothers’ current lineup consists of Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons and John McFee. This marks the first time Johnston will be on the road since he took a break to undergo back surgery in 2023 while the band went to do their 50th-anniversary tour.

In a 2022 interview, Simmons said:

“We have a really great band and a great production.
“We’re kind of stepping it all up, because we can.”
