Dolly Parton has unveiled a captivating rendition of the Beatles’ timeless classic, “Let It Be,” featuring the exceptional talents of Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. The track, enriched further by the contributions of Mick Fleetwood and Peter Frampton, offers a harmonious blend of legendary voices and musical prowess.

This remarkable rendition will find its home within Parton’s upcoming album, aptly titled “Rockstar,” which boasts an impressive array of guest artists. The album’s anticipated release date is set for November 17th, promising a collection of musical collaborations that span diverse genres and generations. “Rockstar” marks the fifth track to emerge from this album, following the original composition “World on Fire” and captivating collaborations with Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Ann Wilson of Heart, and a spirited cover of Queen’s iconic anthem, “We Are the Champions.” The album’s distinguished guest list further includes luminaries like Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Steve Perry, and Parton’s own goddaughter, the talented Miley Cyrus.

Dolly Parton shares that “Rockstar” carries a special significance, partially inspired by her well-deserved induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. Taking an active role in reaching out to the guest artists, Parton expressed her immense honor and privilege in working alongside some of the most iconic voices and musicians in history. She shared her enthusiasm in assembling the album, stating, “To sing these iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure. I hope everybody enjoys the album as much as I’ve enjoyed putting it together.”

The collaboration between McCartney and Starr, who have maintained a creative camaraderie in recent years, continues to captivate audiences. Notably, McCartney’s bass talents were featured on Starr’s 2019 album “What’s My Name.” In a testament to their enduring bond, Starr revealed in 2021 that he and McCartney engage in regular FaceTime conversations.

The eagerly awaited “Rockstar” album is now available for pre-order, inviting music enthusiasts to anticipate a melodic journey that bridges generations and pays homage to the timeless spirit of rock and roll.
