Dolly Parton announced Global cinema listening events for the album Rockstar.

The 77-year-old singer brings good news to her fans as she announced that there will be several listening parties for her upcoming album Rockstar at cinemas worldwide on November 15 and with selected encores on November 16.

Aside from the first-time listening experience to her new album, goers will also be witnessing a never-before-seen performance of a holiday song “Circle of Love.”

Fans are also expected to watch the rare performance of Parton with the song “9 to 5” and an exclusive interview. Parton expressed her excitement towards this and said:

“I am excited to know that my fans around the world will be able to come together and be the first to hear a sneak peek of my Rockstar album. I am so proud of this music, and I am humbled by all the wonderful artists who joined me. I cannot wait for people to hear it!”

Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the non-profit children’s music charity, Music Will, and their global partner organizations.

Parton has successfully fulfilled her promise to make a rock record after she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In one of her statements, Parton mentioned that she is excited to finally present this first rock album, whereas 9 of the 30 songs are original works and the other 21 are covers of iconic songs. Parton said:

“I am very honored and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time and to be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure. I hope everybody enjoys the album as much as I’ve enjoyed putting it together!”

Some of the collaborators on the upcoming album includes Judas Priest’s Rob Halford, Lizzo and her Sasha Flute. Plus, Stevie Nicks, Chris Stapleton, Simon Le Bon, John Fogerty, Melissa Etheridge, Michael McDonald, Richie Sambora, Ronnie McDowell, the Jordanaires and Kid Rock, and Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington, and many more.
