Def Leppard Release “This Guitar” Featuring Alisson Krauss | Society Of Rock Videos

Def Leppard have released a lyric video for “This Guitar,” taken from their twelfth studio album Diamond Star Halos, which features guest appearance by Alison Krauss.

Diamond Star Halos was released on May 27 and contains 15 tracks. It is Def Leppard’s first new studio album since their 2015 self-titled record. Aside from the band members, singer Joe Elliott, guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell, bassist Rick Savage and drummer Rick Allen, there are also several guest artists featured on the album.

Krauss is also included on the song “Lifeless,” while other acts was also featured on the band’s latest album, including David Bowie’s pianist Mike Garson on “Goodbye for Good This Time” and “Angels (Can’t Help You Now).”

The band recorded the album during pandemic simultaneously in three different countries, with Elliott in Ireland, Savage in England, while Collen, Campbell, and Allen residing in the United States.

Def Leppard are currently on the road with their North American stadium tour, which was postponed twice due to the pandemic. Joining them are Mötley CrĂĽe, Poison, and Joan Jett and The Blackhearts. They will be wrapping up in Las Vegas, NV in early September. You can stream the lyric video for “This Guitar” below.
