Some Gouda News
These song titles are literally the cheesiest tracks we’ve ever heard of. The biggest stars, along with their hits, are being shelved in a whole new way. Discount grocers, Aldi, has decided to sell a 1980’s rock themed line of cheeses. The fromages will be stocked only as supplies last- making them very limited.
The Aldi grocery store is no stranger to hilariously punny products. In November, they hit gold with their advent calendar containing 25 different cheeses. In January, they stocked up with packages shaped like chocolate boxes- but replaced with cheese. Now, the 61st Grammy Awards have also inspired Aldi to hit some high notes…
Aldi joined forces with Happy Farms for a limited released of the Rock themed cheeses. So, treat your to-do list like a mix-tape and add all six of the cheesy hits to your grocery list ($3.49 each): Wake Me Up Before You Goat Goat, Sweet Cheddar of Mine, Girls Just Wanna Have Fontina, Pour Some Gouda On Me, and Total Eclipse of my Havarti. Hoping the limited release of these zany cheeses won’t make them one hit wonders!
Cheese and rock lovers unite! Though you can’t specifically get the punny cheeses through a delivery service, Aldi will pick up other cheeses from their dairy aisle and deliver them to your door. In fact, most of their store is filled with items that can be added to Instacart.
Since November, Aldi and the delivery service, Instacart, have added 5,000 zip codes to their radius of destinations. You’re gonna have to add some more items to your charcuterie board to pair with that cheese!
