Once again, Guns N’ Roses has teamed up with country singer Carrie Underwood onstage to perform classic hits.

During their recent stop in Nashville, TN on August 26, GN’R brought Underwood to the stage and performed their concert staples “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City.”

On the fan-filmed videos below, some of the comments read:

“Axl and Carrie sounded really well. Magnificent performance”
“Carrie did a great job.”
“Axl, at this point, still got a more powerful voice command than anyone he duets with.”

Supporters of Underwood have known that the singer has been a longtime GN’R fan. In the past, she has done covering other hits from the band such as “November Rain” and “Patience” in her concerts. In her 2020 appearance on The Tonight Show, she told host Jimmy Fallon:

“It’s hard when you meet your heroes, you know, because I do consider [Axl] to be somebody who taught me how to sing. and I was like, ‘What if I meet him and he’s not everything I want him to be?’ But he was, he was super cool and nice.”

During the country singer’s Los Angeles concert in March, Axl Rose joined her onstage for a performance of the classic “Welcome to the Jungle.” The first time Underwood brought the rock icon onstage was last year during her headlining set at California’s Stagecoach festival where they sang “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City” together.

Meanwhile, Guns N’ Roses will run their tour through the middle of October, playing mostly in stadiums and arenas. They’re also scheduled to appear at the inaugural Power Trip festival in California that will take place from Oct. 6-8.
