For over 46 years of gritty determination and courageously defying the cynics, Iron Maiden, was able to establish a name in the heavy metal scene. The English heavy metal band from East London was first formed in 1975. They are popularly known for their songs like “Run to the Hills,” “Two Minutes to Midnight,” and “The Trooper.” Most of the songs made were inspired by history.

Iron Maiden is currently having their tour, Legacy of the Beast, and just recently performed in Athens, Greece. On the said event, something came up which made lead singer Bruce Dickinson furious. He called out the person who’s behind the flare in the crowd.

It was during the beginning of the song “The Number of the Beast” when a fan lit a flare in the crowd. It caught the attention of the singer, which triggered him to upbraid the said person. The song has been usually being performed second to the last of the band’s setlist prior to their finale song which is the “Iron Maiden.”

The singer once again called out the fan in between the two songs. Dickinson asked with annoyance:

“What did I see?”

“The cunt with a fucking flare, I’ve got to sing up here.”

The situation ticked off the singer. Dickinson did not sing the remaining lines nor performed the iconic scream before the first verse properly kicked in. He even mistakenly sings some of the song’s lyrics.

An announcement was already made that there will be another North American leg of the Legacy of the Beast tour and it will begin on September 11 this year. Watch the fan-filmed video below.
