The Collector’s Edition Box Set Is Limited To 1,000 Copies

Queen guitarist Brian May has announced the reissue of his 1992 debut solo album titled “Back To The Light”. This is part of his latest “Brian May Gold Series”. Originally released in September 1992, “Back To The Light” was a hit and it featured the singles “Too Much Love Will Kill You” and “Driven By You”.

Remastered by Bob Ludwig, it’s set for release on August in a variety of formats – digital download, CD, vinyl, picture disc vinyl, and also made available on streaming services. It also features bonus tracks on its second disc.

Those who pre-ordered will receive the package in a limited Collector’s Edition box set that includes signed art print, lift top box, two CDs, 180g exclusive white vinyl, 32-page booklet, and enamel gold badge. This is limited to only 1,000 copies.

“I’m really just hoping it will connect with people who have never heard this stuff before,” May said in a statement. “They know me as guitarist for Queen. Some know me as an astronomer. Some know me as a campaigner for animal rights. I’m a sort of evangelist for 3-D Victorian Stereoscopy. But very few people have heard my solo output.”
