Artist In ‘Stable’ Condition After On Stage Health Scare

Grammy Award winning rock legend Meat Loaf is recovering after collapsing onstage during last night’s concert at Edmonton, Canada’s Jubilee Auditorium. The sad news came late last night following news that the 68-year-old singer was rushed to an area hospital after falling to the ground during a performance of his 1993 smash hit “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That),” at first confusing the audience who momentarily thought his collapse was part of the performance and quickly turning into panic as stage hands rushed to the singer’s aid.

Despite the terror of the moment, Meat Loaf’s manager released a statement early this morning via Facebook, thanking fans for their thoughts and prayers and revealing that after a series of tests Meat Loaf is currently in the hospital and in ‘stable and good condition’ as he rests comfortably after suffering from what doctors are calling ‘severe dehydration’.

Wow, what a scare! Meat Loaf, we’re so glad that you’re alright and we wish you a speedy recovery and our hearts are with both you and your family during this trying time!
