“Rock Me Baby” has been covered and recorded by several music artists but B. B. King’s version remains the most popular. It was recorded in Los Angeles and released on May 1964.

“Rock Me Baby” is a blues standard that has become one of the most recorded blues songs of all time.

King infuses the song with his own style that makes it quite a treat to his listeners. He sings it with his usual power-packed vocals while playing his guitar flawlessly.

“Rock Me Baby” is a medium-tempo twelve-bar blues notated in the key of C in common or 4/4 time.[4] In addition to King’s vocal and guitar, the song features a “tight, punchy arrangement underpinned by a pianist whose identity is in some doubt.”

This was included in the Top 40 and for the “Deuces Wild” album, he recorded another version with Eric Clapton.
