“You Give Love a Bad Name” was the first single released from Bon Jovi’s third studio album “Slippery When Wet.” It peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 which was a first for the band. It was even ranked at number 20 on VH1’s Greatest Hard Rock Songs of All Time.

Despite the lyrics of the chorus, the song should not be confused with “Shot Through the Heart”, an unrelated song from Bon Jovi’s 1984 self-titled debut album.

Avery Molek is quite possibly one of our favorite drummers. He’s a very talented kid! Definitely had the rock star chops. He spiced up this cover with a touch of metal and we went nuts! That was some insane drumming skills right there, young man. Each rendition is always better than his last. So awesome! More Avery, please!
