He’ll Still Rock You
When someone mentions Angus Young, you’re probably going to think of the adrenaline-packed, extremely energetic guitarist from AC/DC who dons a school boy uniform while doing his wild onstage antics. He’s not as flashy as those other rockstars but he always manages to steal the spotlight from his bandmates whenever his solo comes in. So maybe when you picture him with a guitar, you’d think he’s always shredding and ripping through it.
Well, here’s a surprise for you. In this clip from the “Long Way To The Top” DVD, Angus Young plays an acoustic guitar and talks about one of AC/DC’s hit songs “High Voltage.”
“It’d be cool if we had a song that had the chords A, C, D, C in it,” Young says in the video. “So we more or less threw it together, and I had this ‘high voltage’ chant I was singing. Phil, the drummer, felt it was rather corny, but it paid the rent.”
I guarantee you, this is the coolest thing you’ll see today!
