They Moved It To 2021
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Aerosmith was left with no choice but to postpone their 50th anniversary show in their hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. It was supposed to take place on September 18 at Fenway Park in celebration of five decades since their formation. They’re now moving it to September 14, 2021. Other artists have also postponed or canceled their gigs at the iconic ballpark.
The band wrote on their website, “Out of an abundance of love and caution our 50th Anniversary Fenway show is being rescheduled to 14th September 2021. It’s better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret, for the safety of our families, for our crews, for the fans and for the Blue Army.”
They added, “All tickets will be honored for the new date so hold onto yours! Or if you are unable to make it, you’ll be able to request a refund. Ticket holders will be emailed with all details. Until then, stay safe and stay healthy. Big love from the Bad Boys of Boston.”
For those who are seeking refund, you can do so until August 8, 2020. More rock acts are expected to cancel or postpone their shows because of the current global crisis.
