Aerosmith performs ‘Pink’ live in Argentina!

Steven begins the melodic song with an epic harmonica performance and sultry vocals.

In 1999, this won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal. It was the fourth time Aerosmith won that award. Grammy voters didn’t warm to the band until the ’90s, when they gave them the trophy for “Janie’s Got A Gun.”

The energy Tyler showcases for every single song is electrifying. He must draw his energy from the crowd, because the crowd in this video is clearly loving this song!

Many of the lines in the verses start with the word “pink” (i.e. “Pink it’s my new obsession “, “Pink it’s not even a question”, “Pink on the lips of your lover“…etc. The song is also highly suggestive, in that the origin of the fascination with pink stems from the admiration of a woman’s reproductive organs, and also the man’s – “I wanna wrap you in rubber”.

We definitely aren’t shocked by Tyler’s provocative lyrics. If anyone can get away with it- it’s the boys from Aerosmith, hands down!
