Aerosmith – “Nine Lives” Live

Aerosmith – “Nine Lives” Live | Society Of Rock Videos

I’m Dead In Love Again!

“Nine Lives” was recorded by Aerosmith in 1996 and released the following year as the lead single for their 12th studio album of the same name. Its intro is notable because of Tyler’s imitation of a cat’s wail. During the band’s tour from 1997 to 1999, they often used this as their opener.

The song is four minutes, one second long. All the high-caliber guitar solos are played by Brad Whitford.

During some live performances on TV including one appearance on Saturday Night Live, Aerosmith would often play this track. It also ranked at number 37 in the 1997 Mainstream Rock Tracks. It’s also the theme song played in the intro of the video game “Dead or Alive 3.”

“Nine Lives” was released as a promotional single to rock radio.

Check out this incredible video! Tyler’s vocals just sent chills down my spine!
