9-Year Old Guitarist Takes On “Eruption”, “Paranoid”, “The Final Countdown”

This kid was raised right!

Jeremy Yong is one of the youngest, most talented guitar prodigies in the world. At the age of 7 years old, he became the youngest semi-finalist on the popular TV show Australia’s Got Talent. Jeremy didn’t win the competition, but kept up his playing and has since established a name for himself on his own. When he was 9 years old, he performed a medley of classic rock hits in front of a live audience, and completely killed it!

In the clip below, you’ll see Jeremy perform a cover of Van Halen’s “Eruption,” Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” and Europe’s “The Final Countdown!” He completely nails each one of these incredible covers and leaves the entire crowd on their feet for a standing ovation! Jeremy definitely has a bright future ahead of him, and any classic rock fan will truly appreciate this kid’s phenomenal skill. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for Jeremy in the future, because we know he’s going to be a STAR one day!
