9-Year-Old Avery Plays Iron Maiden’s “Run To The Hills,” And I’m STILL Blown Away!

Welcome Back, Avery!
Now 9 years old and comfortably settled into his new studio, Avery Molek continues to blow us away with what he can do from behind his drum kit! Always appreciative of great music, he decided to treat us to a little Iron Maiden in the form of ‘Run To The Hills’ – and it’s amazing. Surprisingly, it works; because Avery’s got a great ear for rhythm, it was easy to incorporate a few choice drum fills with a little double bass drumming that would make Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain shed a tear or two!
Fun Fact: Avery’s got a soft spot for metal music. He’s covered everyone from Pantera to Judas Priest, and he’s nailed every single cover!
This is probably my favorite thing Avery’s done so far! I love it when talented kids are able to pay homage to the classics, while adding their own unique twists and turns to it. It’s been a long few months, but we’re so glad to see that Avery’s back in action, serving up some good old fashioned rock and roll. Welcome back, Avery!
