Rock will live on!
It’s always relieving when we see the younger generation become interested in classic rock. It shows that the genre isn’t going away anytime soon, and that these artists have left a legacy that will last many lifetimes!
These 8 and 10 year olds have given us a great amount of hope with this amazing cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” The young prodigies took to the stage at a local county fair, and left the audience with their jaws on the floor in this stunning performance! They call themselves MiniBand, and for being such a young age, they rock pretty damn hard! They don’t shy away from any part of the song! The young girl in the band shreds Kirk Hammett’s iconic guitar solo, and the vocalist does a great James Hetfield impersonation for what it’s worth!
Fun Fact: The line in the chorus, “Take my hand, we’re off to Never Never Land” is a reference to the children’s story Peter Pan, as Peter lives in the magical world of Neverland. In this song, the Sandman lives in Never Never Land, and it is a much less pleasant place.
Check out the amazing cover down below, and show these kids some love!
