Creed lead singer and Grammy Award-winning artist Scott Stapp has been a ChildFund International sponsor for years. In 2020, he organized a a charity livestream event to support ChildFund International and its COVID-19 relief fund. This guy is 47 years old but there’s not much change with his voice. It’s still powerful and pretty distinctive.
“ChildFund gives kids a fighting chance to overcome the realities they were born into, they play a crucial role in all aspects of their lives – housing, nutrition, health, education – from infancy to young adulthood and they integrate job training as these kids grow,” he wrote in a statement. “What a gift that is to these children and what a relief for their parents, who have to struggle for the basics we take for granted.”
He further encouraged people to sponsor a child and “make a difference” in their lives.
In a February 2021 interview with Music Mayhem, Stapp talked about his touring plans in the near future. He said, “I most certainly will feel comfortable returning back to the stage once we get the all clear.”
“My hope is that we return to normal as we knew it before in terms of concerts as they’ve always been,” he added. “So I look forward to that day and can’t wait to get back out there.”
