Metal goes jazz!
In the history of music, Metallica are one of the heaviest bands to have ever done it. They were known for being the frontrunners of the thrash metal movement, and revolutionized music forever. It’s hard to imagine Metallica’s music in every other style, but prepare to have your mind blown!
The people at Post Modern Jukebox took Metallica’s instant classic “Nothing Else Matters” and turned it into a smooth jazz/big band classic! PMJ got 15-year old Caroline Baran to sing on the track, and her voice is next level! This sounds like something straight out of the James Bond movies! In fact, let’s start a petition to get this song into the next James Bond movie!
“It’s about being on the road, missing someone at home, but it was written in such a way, it connected with so many people, that it wasn’t just about two people, it was about a connection with your higher power, lots of different things.” – James Hetfield speaking to Mojo magazine about “Nothing Else Matters”
You’ll be amazed at how great the song sounds in this style, as well as the girl’s voice who’s singing it! It’s a must watch for any music fan out there!
