The legendary guitarist of Pantera and Damageplan, Dimebag “Diamond” Darrell was stolen from us too soon.

Thanks to numerous hours of videotape recorded in the past, it will allow us and future generations of fans to continue remembering and learning about him.

Only a small number of individuals got to see Darrell when he was a teenager, but we’ve all seen videos of Dimebag performing with Pantera in front of tens or even hundreds of thousands of spectators. In this list, we will be
looking back at Dime’s formative years. Starting from home promo shoots to playing guitar like a god at age 18.

Through Pantera’s home films, the funniest metal moments were preserved. Dime had quite the personality, which is why his encounters with a Christian group in his hotel room, setting off fireworks with buddies and smashing automobiles with a sledgehammer still feel so timeless.
