This past December, the Rolling Stones released a blues-cover album titled Blue & Lonesome and saw great success. It debuted at number one on the UK charts and received very positive reviews. This was the first time that the Rolling Stones would hit the studio since 2005 when they recorded A Bigger Bang.
Fast-forward to July 2017, the Stones are feeling the urge to get back into the studio, and Keith Richards has just confirmed it!
In a recent interview, Keith Richards was asked if the band had any intentions to get back into the studio and he said “We are very, very shortly cutting some new stuff and considering where to take it next.”
Needless to say, it’s time to get VERY excited! It goes without saying that anything the Rolling Stones touch turns to gold. So it also goes without saying that this new album will be nothing short of that!
