As a satyrical look on fame on fortune, Joe’s “Life’s Been Good” pokes a bit of fun at the celebrities in denial of the change in their lifestyles after “making it big” and it just seems the anthem of Joe Walsh- funny, sarcastic but also a little serious and sad.

Granted this performance compared to others is not necessarily perfect as Joe seems to be “a bit out of it,” however, the innocence and purity of his mistakes almost somehow makes you love him more because it’s real just like the story he tells in the song.
