This anthem never gets old!

At 17 years old, Sina has emerged as one of the most talented young drummers on YouTube. Every time she releases a new video, you think she can’t get any better, but she continuously proves that she can.

Sina’s latest cover is of Cheap Trick’s classic teenage anthem “I Want You To Want Me,” and we have to say: this is one of her best covers yet! Sina’s timing is perfect, and she doesn’t miss a beat. Instead of covering the studio version of this track, Sina instead opts for the Cheap Trick at Budokan live version of the song, which tends to be a little more popular! Any fan of Cheap Trick will appreciate Sina’s fantastic cover, and we hope she covers more of their tunes in the future!

Fun Fact: According to Rick Nielsen, the band considered this “sort of hokey pop” when they first recorded it, and the arrangement matched that sentiment, with finger snaps and a plaintive country feel. Robin Zander played up the schmaltz in the vocal, sounding like a woebegone cornpoke. This studio version fell flat, but when they played it as an earnest rocker, it worked. Also, this is one of the few rock songs that starts with the chorus!
