Wolfgang Van Halen, the son of the icon Eddie Van Halen, is getting married to Andraia Allsop in October. They’ve been together for about seven to eight years leading up to their wedding. Wolfgang’s mom, Valerie Bertinelli, will attend the wedding, and he expects her to be quite emotional on the big day.

He revealed to Consequence last month that the Peter Gabriel song “In Your Eyes” will be the couple’s wedding song. When asked why they picked that song, Wolfgang explained:

“Peter Gabriel is one of our favorite artists. There’s a concert before our wedding that we’re going to see that’s Peter Gabriel, because he’s on tour right now and he’s just one of our favorite artists. So is one of my favorite albums of all time, and it was one of my dad’s favorite albums of all time. So, I’ve just had a connection with Peter Gabriel and his music forever, and simultaneously, my fiancée [is a fan], as well. So, we couldn’t think of a better song.”

Wolfgang and Andraia’s Relationship

Wolfgang’s announcement of his engagement to Andraia in July 2022 was met with excitement and warm wishes from fans and friends alike. Their relationship has deep roots, having started back in December 2015. When they shared the red carpet together at the prestigious 64th Grammy Awards in April 2022, they displayed their close relationship and same interests outside of music, and it was a memorable event in their relationship.

Andraia, a computer science graduate from the University of Utah, has forged her own path in the tech world as a software engineer. In addition to her work in the tech industry, Andraia’s account features captivating snapshots, including images from Van Halen’s concerts, providing a unique glimpse into her personal and artistic pursuits.

The couple’s dynamic, marked by their shared passions and accomplishments, adds a compelling dimension to their upcoming wedding and their life together. As they embark on this new chapter, their story continues to resonate with fans who admire their love, individual talents, and the unique blend of their personal and professional lives.

New Album and Headline Tour

Mammoth WVH released their second album, II, in August 2023, produced by Wolfgang’s friend and collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette at the legendary 5150 studio. They’ve also announced a headline tour this fall in support of the album, following a successful European tour where they opened for several well-known bands.

The headline tour starts on November 4 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and ends on December 9 in Los Angeles. They’ll be performing in cities like Chicago, Sayreville, Dallas, and Seattle, with Nita Strauss as direct support. Additionally, Mammoth WVH will open for Metallica on November 3 in St. Louis and November 10 in Detroit during Metallica’s U.S. tour.
