Mammoth WVH recently released their newest single “Another Celebration At The End Of The World,” taken from their upcoming second album Mammoth II.
Following Mammoth WVH’s self-titled debut released in 2021, the Grammy-nominated band founded and fronted by Wolfgang Van Halen will release their sophomore album, Mammoth II, on August 4 via BMG.
The newly-released song is accompanied by a music video that sees Wolf firing versions of himself from the “Don’t Back Down” music video and introducing his live band: guitarists Frank Sidoris and Jon Jourdan, bassist Ronnie Ficarro and drummer Garrett Whitlock. WVH said about the song:
“I knew that I wanted the new album to contain elements of what people heard on the debut, but also giving me a chance to branch out a bit.
“’Another Celebration At The End Of the World’ is definitely a song that showcases what people can expect from the new album. It is a high-energy rocker with some fun guitar moments on it. I also pushed myself vocally and it is a song I can’t wait to get out and play live. I can see it being a fixture in our live set moving forward.”
The 10-track upcoming LP was recorded at 5150, where Van Halen’s late father Eddie produced many classic Van Halen projects in the ’80s and ’90s. The rocker stated:
“The Mammoth team and I are so excited to now be a part of the BMG family.
“The entire team have welcomed us with open arms and have been nothing short of wonderful.”
