Whitesnake has released a new updated version of their 1987 classic hit “Is This Love” – a preview of their upcoming “Love Songs” collection which will be out on November 6 and available digitally, on CD, and as a 2-LP set pressed on 180-gram red vinyl. It’s the second installment in their “Red, White and Blues Trilogy” series.

Aside from their greatest hits, the forthcoming release also features deep cuts and three previously unreleased outtakes. You can watch the remixed and remastered “Is This Love” below.

David Coverdale said in a statement, “As most of you know, pretty much all the songs I write are love songs in some way, shape or form. These are some of my favorites. Not all are ballads. Some are out-and-out rockers with powerful romantic themes – and of course include heavy breathing in all of them!”

He also added, “Some [of the tracks] have been musically embellished where my co-producer Michael McIntyre, my new mixer Christopher Collier and I felt it appropriate or necessary to bring out the best in these songs.”
