Watch Metallica Take Over Spain With ‘Sad But True’ Peformance

The American heavy metal band Metallica streamed one of their performances in Bilbao Rock Day.

One of the stepping stones that helped the legendary band to reach the peak of their success is their 1991 self-titled album, also known as The Black album. It became one of the best-selling albums worldwide and spent four consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard 200. The album is composed of five tracks and one of which is the “Sad but True.”

In early July, Metallica performed in Bilbao Rock Day 2022. A one-day music festival that hosted famous bands in one stage. The event took place in Bilbao, Spain. One of the songs the rockers performed live was the classic “Sad but True.”

Recently, the band released and streamed their pro-shot video of the said performance. Metallica also shared videos of “Dirty Window” from their set. The said festival was one of the last shows of the band across Europe, it also marks as their last performance at the event after fifteen years.

Metallica also announced early this year their upcoming performance on two summer stadium shows: Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, New York on August 11, and PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 14.
