Jack Black’s musical side projects never fail to entertain. In this video, he teams up with Jason Momoa (playing bass with his band) and Rita Ora for an unforgettable rendition of Black Sabbath and Stevie Nicks covers. The occasion is perfect as their fellow Minecraft castmates, including Danielle Brooks, are present. Jack Black and Rita Ora even perform a celebratory duet of Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen,” with Momoa on a Fender Precision Bass, Hayes on a Buddy Guy Strat, and Dale on drums.
Hayes takes the lead on other tracks, including The Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog,” Led Zeppelin’s “In My Time Of Dying,” and Jimi Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child.” Jack Black returns for a thunderous rendition of another Black Sabbath classic “The Wizard,” followed by Danielle Brooks joining Hayes for a duet of the country classic “Tennessee Whiskey,” recently popularized by Chris Stapleton.
Momoa switches to a vintage Jazz Bass for a powerful performance of Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” fronted by Jack Black’s commanding vocals. This trio not only boasts star power but also impressive musical talent, promising even more exciting performances in the future. Don’t miss this fantastic showcase of their musical chops!
