Bill Hader did a funny impression of the Van Halen brothers.

Bill Hader, recently had a sit-down interview at The Best Show with Tom Scharpling. The American actor, comedian, and producer gained popularity when he became part of the longest-running NBC sketch comedy series, Saturday Night Live, from 2005 to 2013. Apart from that, he is also one of the creators of Documentary Now! an American mockumentary television series parodying the style of a certain documentary show with a similar, but fictitious, subject.

During the episode, Scharpling told Hader:

“I was asked by a friend of ours to ask you about the Van Halen brothers.”

Hader laughingly said:

“I know who the friend was.”

“John Mulaney, Fred Armisen, and I had a text chain as the Van Halen brothers rear-ending somebody,” said Hader referring to his favorite Van Halen brothers interview. He mentioned that whenever he gives Mulaney and Armisen a call, he’d always do this little impersonation. Hader continued:

“They had a press conference about the rear-ending, and nobody cared about it, but they assumed it was going to be a thing. They would be up at the [podium], and no one was asking questions, but Eddie Van Halen was going, ‘One at a time! One at a time!’”

The three of them will do that scene as a role play whenever they have a chance to call one another over the phone. The clip from The Best Show with Tom Scharpling can be watched below.
