Season 24 of The Voice started with a bang as 21-year-old Mara Justine wowed the judges with her performance of Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” leading to a four-chair turn.

Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and the newest addition to the coaching panel, Reba McEntire, were all captivated by Mara’s rendition during the season premiere episode.

Mara is no stranger to the spotlight, having previously competed on both American Idol and America’s Got Talent. Now, she’s making her debut on The Voice, and her performance garnered a four-chair turnaround before she even reached the first chorus.

Niall Horan praised Mara, saying:

“Someone that’s willing to go into the first round with an Elton John song, and sing it like that, it takes something.”

Reba McEntire was impressed by Mara’s stage presence and confidence, while John Legend used the classic “I was the first to turn my chair” card.

He even joined her on stage for an impressive duet of “All Of Me,” leaving Mara a little starstruck.

Viewers were equally blown away by Mara’s talent. One enthusiastic fan commented:

Another viewer predicted a strong start for Team Legend, stating:
