Aerosmith Goes Unplugged With ‘Love Me Two Times’!

Aerosmith Stops By With Doors Classic!
If you love The Doors and Aerosmith, then you’re sure to love this classic! In 1990, Aerosmith stopped by MTV Unplugged to share their acoustic rendition of The Doors’ ‘Love Me Two Times’, and with a harmonica they turned the classic into a bluesy, soulful tune that both Doors and Aerosmith fans can appreciate!
Steven Tyler has always had an impressive vocal range, but it’s here that we really get to see what he can do without a studio or a stage!
Originally released in 1967, ‘Love Me Two Times’ was covered by Aerosmith for their Unplugged appearance and recorded in 2001 for their album Young Lust: The Aerosmith Anthology.
‘Love Me Two Times’ is about a soldier/sailor on his last day with his girlfriend before shipping out, ostensibly to war. While a little suggestive for the time it was released, it eventually became a huge favorite among Doors fans before Aerosmith breathed new life into it.
We knew Aerosmith was talented, but not this talented! You won’t want to miss this!
+ Love Me Two Times lyrics +
Love me two times, baby
Love me twice today
Love me two times, girl
I’m goin’ away
Love me two times, girl
One for tomorrow
One just for today
Love me two times
I’m goin’ away
Love me one time
I could not speak
Love me one time
Yeah, my knees got weak
But love me two times, girl
Last me all through the week
Love me two times
I’m goin’ away
Love me two times
I’m goin’ away
Oh, yes
Love me one time
I could not speak
Love me one time, baby
Yeah, my knees got weak
But love me two times, girl
Last me all through the week
Love me two times
I’m goin’ away
Love me two times, babe
Love me twice today
Love me two times, babe
‘Cause I’m goin’ away
Love me two time, girl
One for tomorrow
One just for today
Love me two times
I’m goin’ away
Love me two times
I’m goin’ away
Love me two times
I’m goin’ away
