Lucia Flores-Wiseman is making a strong case to win The Voice. As the last remaining member of Adam Levine’s team, she delivered a powerful rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” during Monday night’s live finale. Representing her hometown of Seattle, the young singer impressed both the judges and viewers with her emotional performance.
But the competition is fierce. Flores-Wiseman is up against four other talented finalists: Jadyn Cree and Adam David from Team Michael Bublé, Jaelen Johnston from Team Kelsea Ballerini, and RENZO from Team John Legend. Fans will have to tune in Tuesday night to see if her big moment on stage leads to The Voice title.
Sharing Her Journey from Seattle to the Spotlight
Before the finale, Flores-Wiseman sat down with The Seattle Times to reflect on her experience. She said:
“The show has really given me lots of opportunities, lots of exposure, and after this I know there are so many opportunities that are going to be coming my way.”
The 23-year-old singer hopes to stay rooted in Seattle while growing her career. “There are so many great musicians from Seattle,” she explained, “and if I can add my name to the roster, that would be so wonderful.”
Looking Ahead: New Music and Big Dreams
Lucia isn’t slowing down once the show wraps. She revealed that she’s currently working on an EP and has summer performances lined up. She’s determined to keep the momentum going beyond The Voice. She said:
“I want to make sure that Top 5 on The Voice isn’t the last thing.
“I just really want to be able to expand more, so I’m crossing my fingers that I can continue making Seattle proud and have people thinking of going back to Seattle for music.”
With her voice, vision, and drive, nothing is stopping this talented contender. No matter the finale’s outcome, Lucia has already made a lasting impression, and the future already looks bright for her.
