A band composed of five brothers, REO Brothers, performed their rendition of the Beatles classic “Till There Was You” on July 23.

The REO Brothers are from Tacloban City, Philippines. They are composed of Ralph on lead vocals and bass, Reno on vocals and drums, Ron Joseph on vocals and lead guitar/keyboards, Raymart on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Roy on vocals and keyboards.

The original song was composed by Meredith Willson for his 1957 musical play The Music Man and was recorded by the Fab Four in 1963, which was featured on their With the Beatles album. It was the only Broadway song that The Beatles covered.

Now, a new generation is doing their cover of the song. The REO Brothers were seen performing the classic track at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Skokie, IL, as part of their 2022 tour.

They are set to do a show at The Riff in Sunset St, Springfield, MO, on August 13 as well. The concert venue posted on Facebook about the band:

“This group is known for being one of the the world’s best Beatles tributes, but you’ll also hear from legends such as the Bee Gees, Beach Boys, America, Gary Lewis & the Playboys, Elvis Presley, Bill Haley and Cliff Richards. They are the only Philippine band to be invited to the Beatleweek International Festival in The Beatles’ hometown of Liverpool.”
